Day 18 – March SOLSC #sol17
I saw a couple of “Currently” posts this week on different blogs, so I decided to give it a try today.
Currently…
Watching: March Madness, CSI reruns, Modern Family, Big Bang Theory, The Zoo (not all at once of course)
Listening: sneakers squeaking on the basketball court (yay March Madness), my mom talking to her dog, my daughter singing the song from Moana, and all country music
Appreciating: All of my blessings! My daughter, my husband, my mom, my brother, my father-in-law and momma, my friends, my home, my job, my health, and the list goes on. When I stop and think about all that I have, I really am a lucky lady!
Loving: My girl and her cuddles; Hot tea on this cold gloomy day; snuggling by the warm fire, my life.
Eating: Irish soda bread, muffins, grilled chicken wrap with fries (not really the healthiest choices today!)
Drinking: Peppermint tea with honey
Wishing: The sun would come out and chase away this gloomy, snowy, rainy, weather.
Planning: Presently – what to eat for dinner, guided reading lessons for next week, and tomorrow’s “to do” list. In the future – A trip to South Carolina to see my father-in-law and the family. It’s been too long.
Reading: Sadly, not one book for myself. Any suggestions would be appreciated! But, I am reading lots of blogs and always reading professional texts and children’s books 🙂
Thank you to the team of writers at Two Writing Teachers for created this amazing writing community!
I love this slice. Thanks for giving me a glimpse into who you are. I may use your idea in the future if you don’t mind.

What kind of books do you like to read? I finally started a new one today that was free for my Kindle. Fingers crossed it is decent! Great list!

I read your “Currently” list and knew I had to give it a try one of these days. As for books, I’m such a sap and get hooked on cheesy romances with happy endings! I love getting the free books and giving them a try. Can’t hurt right?!

It’s nice to take a snapshot now and then…you never know what ideas for future posts will come out of the seemingly-mundane details of our daily lives!

This is definitely a post we all could try. It made me think about all the things that get put on hold from August to may!

I noticed that you are planning for next week. Such is the life of a teacher on a Saturday. I recommend A Man Called Ove–I loved it.

I bought A Man Called Ove and haven’t started it yet. I think I will carve out some time tomorrow to dig in! Thanks!

I did a post like this a couple of days ago and it amazed me at how much easier my thoughts flowed. If you like breezy romance books that are free might I suggest “Flat Out Love.”
